I'm linking up with Mrs. Laffin's Laughings for A Peek at my Week: Spring Break! I am so excited to finally be on Spring Break! Here is what is in store for me this week:
First: I plan on laying/sitting around our pool as much as possible this week and soak up some Vitamin D! My skin is far too pale for a Floridian! I think that I need to purchase a few spring plants/flowers to decorate my favorite outdoor patio now that winter is finally over. A trip to Lowe's/Home Depot is definitely on my to do list.
Secondly, I will work on my Blog. I am scheduled for a Blog Design Face Lift the end of April! I spent most of today researching designs, clip art, and fonts that I like. I can't wait to see what Megan with A Bird In Hand Designs has in store for me!
On Thursday, I plan on taking my family to Sea World! Can you believe that I live in Florida and have never been to Sea World? I can't believe it either. So, we are finally going to go. I can't wait.
I really don't want to do much more than that since I really need a break and time to relax, read a good book, unwind, sleep, sunbathe, and enjoy time with my husband and children. Let me know what your plans are this week. I'm curious as to what everyone is up to.
Enjoy your week!
Susan
Hi Susan!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous that you can sit by your pool! We are supposed to get snow here tonight in Wisconsin. :(( I am looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with your blog design. You are going to LOVE working with Megan. She is amazing!!
Enjoy your week & I hope you will link up again soon.

Thanks Jen! It is cloudy and rainy today which is a major bummer! I do not miss the snow at all! I plan on working today and tomorrow on my school to do list so I'm free to play when the sun comes back out!
DeleteStay warm,
Susan
Your Spring Break sounds awesomeness! We are taking our 5th graders to Sea World in May for a spend the night trip in the park. Each class will sleep in a creatures' habitat with the students and parents. I refused to sleep with the sharks, so I am assigned the sea turtle area. I'm concerned about not being able to shower and the 5th graders not showering after a full day at the park. The bus ride home is going to be stinky. Lol! I'm enjoying Spring Break and not worrying about it until May. :)

Oh my! Spending the night at Sea World sounds like so much fun! I didn't know you could do that! I would recommend bringing a few cans of antiperspirant/deodorant to share! Hahaha! Enjoy your break Alison! I'm going to go read your blog now...

One of the other teachers says she is going to tell the parents at our parent meeting that she will be lining the kids up...handing out baby wipes and then going down the line spraying them with deodorant. I can't wait to see this!
DeleteI taught 5th grade for the 2005-2006 school year. When I close my eyes I can still "smell" those kids! YIKES! I would be right there with your coworker passing out baby wipes and spraying from the opposite end of the line! Hahahah! Love it!!
